COVID-19 continues to impact our local restaurants
Over 110,000 restaurants have now closed due to the pandemic says the National Restaurant Association.
Because of logistics, many products still do not make it where they need to in order for these businesses to serve their patrons. As we have all seen on TV, this starts at the ports where so many ships are waiting to unload due to the shortage of truck drivers needed to haul their contents to their distribution destinations.
Now, during the holidays, we see the effects of this at our favorite restaraunts where even if the food suppliers have been able to reach their destination. It seems that this has come at a price that keeps many independent owners struggling while they watch their economy fall faster than the Afghan government.
If that was not enough, the labor shortage is on the rise and hitting them where it hurts. Everywhere we look we see help wanted signs, half filled dining rooms, and closed doors. No matter what you think the reason is for people not returning, the point is that they are not. This is hurting restaurant owners everywhere, but more importantly , here at home. These owners are our family and our friends and we must find a way to support them.
We recognize our community, our clients, and how important they are. We also recognize that they should not have to choose whether to pay their bills on time or fix equipment. With financing for every program offered and billing to fit any budget, our friends, family, and community do not have to choose. Call today to see how we can help you.
